Grandparents Raising Grandchildren of Louisiana is an organization dedicated to offering both information and support to grandparent and other kinship caregivers and their families. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization committed to serving these families in any way that we can.
When people are placed in a circumstance that requires kinship care, our organization can help. We provide referral sources that those caregivers may find valuable, along with access to expert advice on legal matters such as custody laws, the establishment of legal guardianship, and adoption.
Our organization values guidance and support. In monthly discussion sessions, grandparents and caregivers alike can share their experiences and advice. There is also opportunity to obtain guidance from others who have found themselves in similar situations.
